I’m a final year medical student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am enrolled in a graduate program in medicine which is open to all graduates in any field to try and get a more diverse spectrum on individuals in medicine. I previously completed a bachelors degree in science at the University of Cape Town, majoring in genetics and physiology.

In 2008, I was selected as one of the finalists for the Men’s Health Look which was held in Cape Town. The competition involved us doing various adventure activities around the peninsula including abseiling, jumping out of a Huey helicopter into the ocean, paragliding and a host of other activities. Since then, I have been involved in the Canoe for Cancer drive where I paddled the Dusi with my partner Alice Rawlinson in an effort to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer as well as a mobile mammography unit. Subsequent to that I have been selected as an ambassador for Jenna Clifford and I am involved in some of her philanthropic endeavors that she has on the go at the moment.
 

Jon directed his first feature film when he was 19 years old. Since he was 11 years old he had been filming all sorts of ideas building up to his big film idea. The truth is that Savage had never heard of a short film. It was only 2 years AFTER his giant production (which somehow went to a few Eastern Cape independent cinemas), did he discover there was such a thing as a short film.

Jon’s passion for Film and music have always consumed his life. He loves ideas and is inspired daily by a million different things. Jon was a director at Kryptonite Productions for 6 years before finding his real home at Terraplane in 2007. He is the lead singer of local rock band, Cassette, and continues to create music, virals, videos and shoot ideas when he is not too busy making commercials. He gets emotionally involved in every production - he can’t help it.
 

Keabetswe Motsilanyane, affectionately known as KB, has released four albums to date, which have won her the South African Music Award for Best RnB and Best Urban Pop Album, 5 Metro FM Music Awards and 2 Kids Choice Awards for Favourite Female Artist. She has shared the stage with Beyonce, Ashanti, Lauren Hill, Musiq Soul Child, Tamia and Eve, who featured KB in her performance.

KB began her acting career when she graced the local television screens on Backstage, Mthunzini.com and S.O.S. She was introduced to the international blockbuster screens when she featured alongside Will Smith and Jamie Foxx in the critically acclaimed movie Ali. KB currently has a leading role on e-TV’s daily soap, Rhythm City.

KB has been the face of Charlie by Revlon and was voted the BEST STYLED artist 2008.

Celebrity Rosie Tebogo Motene is an accomplished actress in theatre, television and film, a TV soapie star and well known presenter, and a great MC. As a board member of (People Opposing Women Abuse) POWA, Childline and The Tomorrow Trust, she is also involved in campaigning against women and child abuse in South Africa.

Rosie has been rated as one of SA’s most stylish women and has graced the covers of many local and international magazines.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts (Honours) from The University of the Witwatersrand.

 Shashi Naidoo is a South African actress; television presenter and model best known for co-hosting the e.tv magazine show 20Something. During this time she also co-hosted the nation-wide MTV VJ search.

She was also been awarded the coveted January 2009 cover of FHM, (FHM’s 100 sexiest women in the world she was placed 4th in 2009, from 14th in 2008).  which showcases the calendar for 2009, where she also presented the Calendar Television show for Mnet, which was shot on location in Zanzibar.
 
She is also the sole owner of model agency, Alushi Management, situated in Norwood.
Her current achievements have earned her nomination in Cosmo’s awesome women of the year 2008. She is the current brand ambassador of Lipsy of London and the New Face for the national Sorbet campaign.

Recently, Shashi has become one of the founding members of Fashion with Feeling. This is the first major non profit organization in the Fashion industry, and has been established to inspire and empower individuals interested in the fashion industry, with a bias towards teenagers and young adults who are often overlooked; She is joined in this venture by Ryk Neetling, Dion Chang and David Tlale

Naidoo was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, matriculating from Alexander Road High School in 1997. She moved to Johannesburg to study chiropractic medicine, which she completed in 2007
 

Soon to be featured as Mr. June in the popular 2009 Heat magazine calendar, Stephen is more than just a sought-after model. He featured as one of COSMO’s Hottest Men Alive and was voted as Cleo Magazine’s 2nd most eligible bachelor of the year in South Africa in 2008. He was also Mr. October in the popular 2008 Cosmopolitan calendar.

Stephen started surfing at age 11 in Ballito after his grandmother introduced him to the sport. Since then he has competed in many surfing competitions and showed promising results.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very important for Stephen, which he does by eating healthy food, exercising regularly and has completely cut out drinking alcohol. Stephen has a list of dreams and goals he strives to achieve: he wants to push the sport and himself to the next level, he wants his soon-to-be shot travel show to show the world the amazing places this world has to offer, get his charitable foundation off the ground, launch his website, write a book, meet the woman of his dreams, travel the world, make a friend in every country and of course, give back to surfing. Trevor Noah only recently started performing as a professional comedian and within 2 years in the game, is already recognized as one of the most talented comedians in South African comedy. Such has been his impact on the local comedy scene that demand for Trevor has grown so much that he had to leave his position as a radio DJ on YFM and even put his acting career on hold to fully pursue his first love, comedy!

Trevor officially announced his arrival when he was chosen as the opening act of the worldwide famous comedian, Russell Peter’s South African tour.  He has performed in numerous shows all over the country such as the Vodacom Campus Tour, the 94.7 Heavyweight Comedy Jam, Arts Alive and Blacks Only Comedy Show.   His charm and good looks have made him a favourite for TV roles and commercials. He was also the host of the country’s celebrity gossip talk show called Real Goboza on SABC1. 2008 saw Trevor participate as one of the celebrity personalities in SA’s version on the popular reality dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing.

Victor Vermeulen had it all! From a very early age, he'd excelled at both academics and sports and boasted an expansive list of bursaries and awards. He could have represented his country at any number of sports but his first love was always cricket. At 19 he'd already played with a young South African team at Lords the famous English test ground and was settling into a career with Transvaal.
